An Architect c4000 chemistry analyzer and an i1000SR immunoassay analyzer joined into one Architect ci4100, rebuilt Down-To-Frame® to original specification. Save up to 70% vs new, starting with $0 down.
The Abbott Architect ci4100 runs photometric, turbidimetric and ICT electrolyte chemistry alongside chemiluminescent immunoassays, at up to 900 tests an hour with 180 samples loaded at once. One System Control Center runs both analyzers. Buy it refurbished from Diamond and you pay up to 70% less than a new system costs.
The ci4100 joins an Architect c4000 and an Architect i1000SR under one System Control Center, so your techs run both from one screen. Abbott uses identical technology, reagents and assay protocols across the Architect family, so a ci4100 reports results equivalent to the larger Architect systems in your network.
The ci4100 runs up to 900 tests an hour, 800 chemistry and 100 immunoassay. The Architect ci8200 runs up to 1,400, and the Alinity ci up to 1,550. The ci4100 needs about 27.5 sq ft of floor, close to the Alinity ci's 25 sq ft and about 36% less than a ci8200.
On the chemistry side, each sodium, potassium and chloride result from the ICT module counts as a test, so your real hourly output depends on how much of your menu is electrolytes.

Buy the whole system from us, or build it around the analyzer you already own.
Complete ci4100. We supply both analyzers and the System Control Center, rebuilt and installed together.
Your c4000 plus a refurbished i1000SR. Add immunoassay to the chemistry analyzer your staff already run.
Your i1000SR plus a refurbished c4000. Bring chemistry and electrolytes onto the immunoassay analyzer you own.
One side only. If you need just chemistry or just immunoassay, we sell the either on their own.
Room to step up. When your volume outgrows a ci4100, the ci8200 takes the same reagent cartridges and sample carriers and runs up to 1,400 tests an hour.

Abbott built the ci4100 to give lower-volume labs the same Architect chemistry and immunoassay that larger labs run.
Smaller hospital labs. Run chemistry, electrolytes and immunoassay on one system, with 35 priority positions for ED and inpatient STAT samples.
Labs consolidating two older analyzers. Replace a separate chemistry analyzer and immunoassay analyzer with one system run from one screen.
Hospital networks on Architect. Put a ci4100 in a smaller site and report results equivalent to the c8000 or ci8200 in your core lab.
Labs running cardiac markers for the ED. A five-year review of QC data found stable high-sensitivity troponin I performance on Architect ci4100 analyzers.
Labs shopping for a used ci4100. Compare any used system with one rebuilt to the frame, installed by our engineers and eligible for our field service plans.
Abbott sells new ci4100 systems through contracts, often tied to a reagent agreement that spreads the instrument cost across your per-test pricing. We price each refurbished ci4100 individually, because the chemistry and immunoassay components each carry their own year of manufacture. Whichever system fits your lab, you pay up to 70% less than new and own it outright.
A ci4100 is two analyzers, each with its own history. Before you set a used system's price against a refurbished one, count what it will cost to get both analyzers reporting patient results.
Every refurbished ci4100 from Diamond is decontaminated, rebuilt with new wear parts on both analyzers, calibrated and QC-validated before it leaves our facility. Our engineers then install it and verify your assays on site.
Tell us which Architect analyzers you already own, your daily chemistry and immunoassay volumes and when you need the system running, and we'll quote the configurations that fit. Ask for the quote as a monthly payment too, starting at $0 down with low introductory payments, so you can compare it with a used system or a reagent agreement.
Our own engineers rebuild both analyzers, install the joined system in your lab and come back to service it.

We decontaminate both pieces, take each one down to the frame, and restore or replace every assembly, from the c4000's reaction carousel and ICT unit to the i1000SR's process path and chemiluminescence optics. Both analyzers get new probes, syringes, seals, tubing and reagent lines. We calibrate each one with certified calibrators, validate both with multi-level QC and, on request, run your own chemistry and immunoassay tests.
We hold FDA registration as a refurbisher, and our US and EU facilities hold ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 13485:2016 certification. ISO 13485 sets the quality management requirements for medical device makers, and external auditors check our work against both standards.
Our engineers set up both analyzers, connect them to the System Control Center, program your chemistry and immunoassay menus and verify them before you report patient results. On-site operator training is available after installation, covering the instrument, your menu, adding parameters, preventive maintenance and first-line troubleshooting, with an hour for your team's questions.
Retiring separate chemistry and immunoassay analyzers? We'll buy them and credit their value toward the ci4100. We deinstall and decontaminate them, pick them up and pay the freight, so they don't sit in storage or end up on a disposal invoice.
Every ci4100 we sell is eligible for our field service plans, and so is a ci4100 you bought elsewhere once we qualify it.
Up to 900 tests an hour, with up to 800 on the c4000 chemistry side and up to 100 on the i1000SR immunoassay side.
Abbott prices new systems by contract, often inside a reagent agreement. A refurbished ci4100 from Diamond costs up to 70% less than new. We price each system individually, based on the year of manufacture of both analyzers, whether you need one analyzer or both, and the services you add.
A used ci4100 is two analyzers with two service histories, so ask the seller about each one's year of manufacture, decontamination, replaced wear parts and current QC results. A refurbished ci4100 from Diamond is rebuilt to the frame on both sides, calibrated and QC-validated, then installed and verified by our engineers and eligible for our field service plans.
The ci4100 joins a c4000 and an i1000SR and runs up to 900 tests an hour from 180 samples. The ci8200 joins a c8000 and an i2000SR and runs up to 1,400 tests an hour from 365 samples, in a system 127 inches wide against the ci4100's 111. Both use the same Architect reagents and assay protocols.
The Alinity ci is Abbott's current platform, running up to 1,550 tests an hour with the option to add modules. The ci4100 runs up to 900 and keeps your lab on Architect, with the reagents and training you already have.
Yes. We pair a refurbished i1000SR with your c4000 and install them together as a ci4100. If you own an i1000SR, we add a refurbished c4000 instead.
The i1000SR runs thyroid, fertility, cardiac and infectious disease assays from Abbott's Architect immunoassay menu. Ask us for the list of tests run on the system in stock.
On certain chemistry tests, yes, where your methods allow. Ask us which tests on your menu qualify.
The c4000 runs on AC 180 to 264 V from a 20 A circuit, and the i1000SR runs on 110 to 120 V or 200 to 240 V. The c4000 uses about 15 L (4.0 gal) of deionized water an hour, and the i1000SR uses purified water to dilute its buffer.
Lease or finance up to $2 million with $0 down and low introductory payments. Up to $400,000 needs only a credit application, and freight can go into the financed amount.
Yes. We buy the analyzers you're retiring, credit their value toward your ci4100, and handle deinstallation, decontamination, pickup and freight.
Yes. Our engineers install both analyzers, program and verify your chemistry and immunoassay tests, and offer on-site operator training after installation.
Yes. Once we qualify it, it's eligible for the same field service plans as the systems we sell.
Yes. Reagents and consumables for both the c4000 and the i1000SR are available through Diamond Diagnostics.
